The name Indigo has been synonymous with traditional Indian cuisine in Budapest for almost 20 years, but Indian street food has been missing from day-to-day life. Indigo Express is a fast casual restaurant where carefully prepared, authentic yet fresh and vibrant food is served quickly – to fit a little bit of India into your busy weekdays.

Indigo Express is waiting for you in Budapest’s busiest hubs – Nyugati tér, Hercegprímás utca, Budapart and Etele Plaza – but if you’d prefer to enjoy the flavours at home, we can also deliver your favourites via Wolt. Our health-conscious street food concept is based on the ‘Slow Prep, Quick Serve’ philosophy through fresh ingredients, long fermentation and careful preparation. After you order, we prepare your food in our show kitchen in just a few minutes, so you don’t have to compromise on quality or time.

A special focus is on thali, an iconic dish of Indian cuisine, where you can explore a variety of flavours, curries, dahls and side dishes in a single meal. For something truly authentic, try the dosa, a crispy pancake made with stuffed lentil and rice flour, or go for the roll, a true street food classic: fresh vegetables, spicy paneer or meat wrapped in Indian bread.
